Concentrate Almost Always Wins
A ready-to-use bottle is mostly water, and you are paying freight on it. A concentrate diluted correctly costs a fraction per litre of working solution. The catch is the word correctly: mixing by eye typically means over-pouring, which erases the saving and leaves residue that attracts soil. Dilution stations or pre-measured packs solve this and are worth specifying if staff mix their own.
Where All-Purpose Stops
General cleaners handle light soil on most sealed surfaces. They are not degreasers, not descalers, and not disinfectants unless the label carries a DIN. Trying to make one product do everything usually means it gets used at double strength on jobs it was never designed for, which costs more than buying the right product would have.
Keep It Neutral Around Finished Floors
Spray from wall and counter cleaning lands on the floor. A high-pH general cleaner used near finished flooring will slowly dull the finish along the perimeter, which is why that first foot next to the baseboard often looks worse than the middle of the room.
