Hand sanitizer for workplaces, schools, clinics and food service across Toronto and the GTA — dispenser refills, pump bottles and portable formats.
Alcohol Content Is the Spec That Matters
Alcohol-based sanitizers need to be in roughly the 60 to 80 percent range to work as intended. Below that they lose effectiveness quickly, and products marketed on being gentler are sometimes gentler because they are weaker. Check the percentage on the label, and check for a DIN or NPN, which indicates Health Canada has reviewed the product’s claims.
Sanitizer Does Not Replace Washing
Alcohol is deactivated by dirt and grease. On visibly soiled hands it does very little, which is why kitchens and workshops need soap at the sink rather than a dispenser by the door. Sanitizer is for clean hands between washes.
